CLEaR renewal: Accessing your renewal

The resources provides detailed instructions on how to access your renewal, print your license, manage documents, review fees and payments, and complete each step of the renewal process.

Accessing your renewal

To begin, log in to your account on the Department’s licensing portal. Enter your username or email address and password, then click Sign In.

You can renew your license no earlier than 60 calendar days before the license expires and up to 30 calendar days after the expiration date.

Finding your license

Click My Records and locate your license, then choose Renew License. You may also open the renewal by selecting the Record Number link.

Expiration dates

Note: Be sure to renew your license before the expiration date shown in the Expires On column. If you have not renewed by the expiration date, all contacts will receive an email stating that you can still renew after paying a late fee equal to 50% of your renewal fee. If you open your license record by selecting the Record Number link, you will see another option to start your renewal using the Renew License button at the bottom of the screen.
